Committee Members
The Committee consists of six members that are appointed by the Governor with the consent of the Senate. They represent small business owners, farmers and ranchers, and low-income seniors and other residential citizens of Utah. They come from diverse communities of different sizes all across the State. No more than three may be members of the same political party. Each member is appointed for a four-year term. The Committee assesses the impact of utility rate changes and other regulatory actions on residential, small commercial and irrigator customers.
